Exploring nutrient stripping and scrubbing technology to recover ammonia from the air of pig housing and from manure that can be used as a bio-based fertiliser. These nitrogen-rich products performed comparatively well compared to artificial fertilisers regarding effectiveness, nutrient value and reduced GHG emissions. This topic will focus on the EIP-AGRI Operational Groups RENURE from Belgium and Gas-Loop from Italy as case studies.
